RecordBag Terms of Service

You must use RecordBag lawfully and responsibly. You may not use the platform to harass people, impersonate others, break copyright or privacy rights, manipulate recommendation or ad systems, scrape the service in a harmful way, distribute malware, or interfere with the stability or security of the platform.

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping your login details secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.

You may create a profile, publish playlists and mixes, save tracks, follow users, message people, and add profile details such as display names, avatars, bios, and social links. You remain responsible for the material you submit and the accuracy of the information you present.

If you upload artwork, descriptions, profile text, messages, or similar content, you confirm that you have the right to post it and that doing so does not infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you give RecordBag a non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and moderate that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the service.

RecordBag may reference, embed, or link out to tracks, media, social accounts, playlists, and other third-party services. We do not control those third-party services, their availability, their terms, or the way they process personal data.

Your use of third-party services remains subject to the policies and terms of those third parties. RecordBag is not responsible for outages, removals, metadata errors, or rights disputes that originate outside our platform.

RecordBag may personalize playlists, mixes, recommendations, explore inserts, ads, and geography-aware experiences based on your activity, settings, account details, and interactions with the service.

We may label sponsored placements or promoted material and may measure ad delivery, impressions, clicks, and related performance signals. Advertisers do not receive ownership of user accounts, and ads do not entitle an advertiser to access private account data beyond what is permitted by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We may review, restrict, remove, de-rank, edit metadata for, suspend, or ban accounts, playlists, mixes, messages, or other content when we believe it is necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, protect users, protect rights holders, prevent abuse, or maintain platform integrity.

Moderation decisions may include content takedowns, account warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the service. We may also preserve relevant records where reasonably required for legal, security, or dispute-handling purposes.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using RecordBag, you acknowledge that we may process personal data as described there.

If you are in the UK, EEA, or another jurisdiction with data protection rights, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or transfer certain personal data, subject to applicable exceptions. We will handle valid requests in line with applicable law.

We can change, pause, or discontinue features, campaigns, playlists, recommendation logic, moderation tools, account features, or advertising tools at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, RecordBag is provided on an as-available basis. We exclude implied warranties where lawful to do so and are not liable for indirect, consequential, exemplary, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, the law, or our operations. When we make material changes, we may update the page, the effective date, or provide an in-product notice where appropriate.

Continued use of RecordBag after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
